Driving the short-cut over the hill from Livermore to Tracy in central valley friday, I saw all the windmills up there closer up. They are kind of unnerving...
Suddenly you drive over the hilltop and you see this:
But what I see in my head is this:
I blame xkcd....
Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way, Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.

Cathedral peak
Yesterday me and Andrew finally got to climb cathedral peak. It was awesome! :)
Cathedral peak is THE classic on Tuolumne meadows. Its a 5 pich 5.6 climb to an almost 12 000 feet tall peak with awesome view over the meadows and Yosemite national park in general, and the climbing is really fun on solid granite with protection wherever you want it. The only problem with it is that its really crowded... We drove from Livermore after work Friday, camped at our secret free camping and started hiking up 8.30ish. Andrew have been there two times before and I trusted him knowing the way, so we ended hiking way longer than necessary... We started climbing kind of in the middle of the rush of people, and had plenty of other parties on all sides of us. Social and nice on the belays, and since it was warm and sunny and we had the whole day, we basically just enjoyed going slow, since it was not much else to do about it. The climbing was really really fun and easy. There is for instance an awesome chimney, which I loved.
