Snowkiting in Hessdalen, or trying to...

This weekend we went to Maris cabin in Hessdalen to go snowkiteing. Not to much wind, but otherwise awsome!

Hessdalen is the area in Norway with the most UFOs, here is one.

We also met an ailien.

We had do drag 6 kites on slegdes 5 km into the cabin, we started quite late in the evening from the parking, and used about 3.5 hours on a walk that normally is about 1 - 1.5 hour... Reason: We got completly lost just by the cabin, and managed to be within 100m of it several times without finding it. In the end we saw another cabin with light in, and they helped us by showing the way with their snowmobile :)

When we got to the cabin at 2.30 am it was kind of cold there....

Mari trying to get up her kite, Ingrid helping. It did not work very well, since it was very little wind, and when it came it was gusty and constantly changing directions...

Next day we just took the skies to hike a little. Lars is efficient and brush his theets while walking...
